Food intolerances can affect your health

In a study of 5286 people 75,8% of people benefited from tailoring theirdiet according to IgG food sensitivity testing.

Food sensitivities can cause issues for gut, respiratory, neurological, skin, joints and psychological symptoms. The mechanism in the body is a delayed IgG mediated allergic response. It is not the same as the common IgE-mediated"food allergy" which is easier to detect, partly because the reactions to offending foods come very quickly after ingestion

The IgG-mediated delayed reaction can take from hours to days, which makes it difficult to identify the cause-effect. The largest study we could find included 5286 people and it suggested that after changes in their diet according to IgG- results, the people benefited in multiple areas in just a few weeks:

Hardman G, Hart G, Dietary advice based on food-specific IgG results, Nutrition & Food Science Vol. 37 No. 1, 2007 pp. 16-23

We have observed similar effects in clinical practice using a diagnostic tool. Allergo-Screen is a laboratory analysis for delayed food sensitivity. It measures the response to 260+ food ingredients. High IgG antibody levels indicate a situation where the body begins to defend itself against food particles, especially in situations where the intestinal surface is damaged and passes through abnormally large amounts of food particles (”leaky gut”).Studies have shown that removing the worst exposures from the diet reduces the symptoms in three-quarters of the people following the diet.

The test is available for all of EU using our DHL Medical Express services.
